With a representation of Dr. Cornelis Lely (1854-1929), the civil engineer and statesman who made Flevoland possible with passage of an act of parliament authorizing construction of the Zuiderzee Works, whihc he also designed. This turned the Zuiderzee from open water into a lake. The dry land it became is now the province of Flevoland. He is shown in the traditional medieval armor of the anonymous knight. The 1st silver ducat of Flevoland and last in the 12 provinces series
