Hungary 2,000 Forint 2015. Miksa Roth. Copper-nickel BU

 he last coin of 2015 commemorated the 150th anniversary of birth of glass painter and mosaic artist Miksa Róth, and the 110th anniversary of the headquarters of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, Hungary’s Central Bank. The obverse presents an interesting perspective on one of the exterior friezes of the building. The back of the coin features the rich Secessionist-style stained glass windows of the Bank's headquarters designed by Miksa Róth and his portrait. The coin was issued in HUF 10,000 proof silver and in HUF 2,000 brass (BU quality) versions.
