Germany

Because of the high price of silver, in early 2011 Germany changed its policy and discontinued using the metal in the uncirculated €10 coins. The only silver uncirculated coin is the Franz Liszt.  Any other silver uncirculated  coins were melted and had to be restruck in  copper-nickel. The proof coins are all .625 silver and weigh 16 grams.
